CalAir is the platform for the 2026 CalArts Graphic Design End of the Year Show, themed around an airport. The exhibition showcases a full year of work from BFA 1–4 students, reimagined through the visual language of sports teams and fantasy leagues. Visitors can explore each designer’s signature and personality at a glance, turning the class into a collectible roster where users can build and share their own “dream team.” I participated in the print-crafted handouts, patterns, and logo design, and the team collaborate with the identity system, security checkpoints, passport and map pamphlets, motion, posters, and event space design.

For the Fans, CalArts Yearbook 2026 is a yearbook website created for graphic designers, reimagined through the visual language of sports teams and fantasy leagues. The platform allows visitors to explore each designer’s signature, personality, and body of work at a glance, turning the graduating class into a collectible roster of creative players. Users can discover their favorite designers, build their own “dream team,” and share their selections with others through an interactive system. I participated in the design and development of the website, contributing to the overall visual experience and identity system.

SPRINKET is a coping mechanism brand designed to help individuals release negative memories/feelings through a curated system of emotional exchange. Centered around four character-based spirits known as Sprinkies—representing Sadness, Anxiety, Irritability, and Overwhelmed—the brand connects those in distress with specific sensory trinkets. Users submit their written emotional burdens in exchange for a specialized tool—such as slime, clicker fidgets, stress balls, sleeping masks, or plushies—that best aligns with their current state, effectively swapping their negative memories for a grounding physical object. I executed a pop-up experience at CalArts, hosting exchange sessions for the entire student body where participants processed their emotions and received their own Sprinket.

STUDIO is an custom album for my peers. A small, palm-sized album (about 5×5 cm) holding the playlists they listen to while designing, embedded with NFC.
Each album comes with a clay keyring of their character, made just for them. Scan it, and it takes you straight to their personal playlist.

Stranger No Danger is a publication featuring interviews with designers I admire, presented through editorial spreads. For this issue, I interviewed the type designer PrettyOddType via email about the process of making typefaces, framing the conversation as a type making guide for college students who are beginning type design. The text embedded in the cover logo is taken from the first email I sent.

Music Mixing

"Froot Cake" is a virtual band project where we built an entire identity system based on a bakery concept. We made the cute band named “Sweet Treat”. We took full visual and creative ownership of the project by producing the original chiptune and electronic bubblegum pop music, alongside designing the album cover and all physical packaging. We blended photography with illustration to give the band a playful, lively aesthetic. Every cookie used in the visual assets was hand-baked (and eaten) by our team.
